Mexico Service Trip: Building Hope in Maneadero
As a church family, we desire to build bridges between the church and our surrounding culture in order to communicate and demonstrate the gospel.
This December, we have an incredible opportunity to do just that. From Friday, December 5th through Sunday, December 7th, a team from The Fields will travel to Maneadero, Mexico (just south of Ensenada) to build a home for a family in need.
Many families in this region live with dirt floors, pallet walls, and tarp roofs. Some have been able to gather a few materials, while others make do with whatever they can find. Together, we’ll have the privilege of providing a safe and lasting home—and sharing the love of Christ in tangible ways.
In addition to the home build, the team will also have opportunities to:
- Serve at a local orphanage
- Support community outreach projects
- Provide food for migrant families
- Spend time with children and families in the neighborhood
No construction experience or Spanish is required. All materials, tools, and guidance will be provided.

“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.”

Our neighbors to the south have many needs—and we have the opportunity to bless them, as is our calling.
